Artist Bio
I was born in Wisconsin Rapids, WI in 1975 with a very special talent and I knew at an early age that I wanted to be an artist. With years of instruction and a lot of time and effort refining my talents, along with the support of family, teachers and friends, I was able to realize my goal of becoming an artist.

I graduated from college in La Crosse, WI, in 1995 with a degree in commercial art.

Unless you are one of the lucky few who are able to create "fine art" and make a living at it, commercial art is the way to go, only to avoid becoming a "starving artist." Right out of college I was recruited by WinCraft, Inc. in Winona, MN. Working there as a graphic artist for the next five years, I designed merchandise and collectibles for the top professional NBA, NFL, NHL sports teams and players, NASCAR drivers, and even for Warner Brothers and Sea World, as well as various other print materials. It was at WinCraft that I developed and honed my computer illustration skills, learning that anything can be redrawn on the computer. In 2000, a fire was lit under me to stretch myself and I left the scenic bluffs of Winona and moved to the tri-city area of Midland, Saginaw, and Bay City in Michigan. While trying to start my own business, I supported myself by working part-time at QRP in Midland. I was there for five years before leaving to sign on with Steve Space at Space Studios. My time there was fulfilling, but short-lived. With the wonderful support of friends and clients here in Michigan, I recently have been able to put aside working for others and focus all my energies on my own design company. I am happy to be able to serve the graphic needs of a wide variety of customers, businesses and service organizations. My venture into this world of self-empoyed business has been successful!
